Senior UI/UX Designer based in sunny Orlando, Florida

I’m a Senior UI/UX Designer who thrives on bringing clarity to chaos — turning messy, fragmented workflows into clear, intuitive products that scale. I’ve led 0→1, end-to-end design for an enterprise insurance claims platform within a 700+ employee organization, supporting 250+ adjusters, while also redesigning a fintech startup website serving 1,000+ users and optimizing proptech resident portals across 400+ communities.

I’m at my best when I'm mapping complex systems, designing patterns that scale, and turning research into solutions that feel obvious in hindsight. I’m drawn to teams that prioritize thoughtful problem-solving, foster honest collaboration, and invest in the long game — where design is a strategic partner, not just a final layer of polish.

What I’m known for: an eagle eye for UI — visual hierarchy, clarity, and polish that holds up in real-world use — paired with a UX brain that loves untangling complexity and a strategic mindset that turns fragmentation into clarity, delivering products that scale, align teams, and move the metrics that actually matter.

my process

Understand

Understand

  • Define business goals, constraints, and success metrics, framing clear design challenges and aligning stakeholders on priorities.
  • Research user behaviors and workflows through interviews, surveys, and analytics, uncovering insights that guide design decisions and priorities.
  • Empathize by mapping user perspectives and pain points, ensuring solutions address both functional needs and real-world context.
Ideate

Ideate

  • Brainstorm cross-functional ideas in collaborative workshops, generating diverse solutions and aligning teams on innovative directions.
  • Concept solution models through sketches and low-fidelity wireframes, translating user needs into actionable features and flows.
  • Explore design variations and edge cases, testing feasibility and narrowing options into scalable, high-impact paths.
Design

Design

  • Wireframe layouts to outline structure and user flows, validating concepts early and aligning stakeholders on UX before visual polish.
  • Systemize components and tokens into a scalable design system, ensuring consistency and improving developer efficiency.
  • Prototype interactive workflows to simulate real user interactions, enabling usability testing and stakeholder validation prior to development.
Test

Test

  • Evaluate usability through testing sessions against defined goals and heuristics, uncovering friction, confusion, and missed expectations.
  • Measure outcomes using defined success metrics (task completion, time on task, error rate), generating data-driven insights for design refinement.
  • Validate solutions by confirming alignment with user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, building clarity before development investment.
Iterate

Iterate

  • Refine designs by addressing usability findings and feedback, strengthening key workflows and reducing friction.
  • Improve product performance by optimizing patterns, accessibility, and efficiency based on analytics and real usage signals.
  • Repeat the design cycle through continuous feedback loops, scaling solutions and evolving the system as needs change.

🌟 TL;DR: I start by deeply understanding the problem, explore and validate multiple paths, design scalable systems, and iterate with real user data — reducing friction, aligning teams, and shipping products that move the metrics.

Off the Clock

I’m usually in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, at church, stacking LEGOs into improbable structures, sketching or painting or chasing waves at the beach whenever I can sneak away.

I empathize deeply with people and their everyday joys and struggles, and I try to make the tiny moments feel like gentle reminders of “ahh, yes… I’m blessed” — with little sparks of creativity popping up as unexpected bright spots in the middle of life’s everyday chaos.
